FAQs
What is a sound bath?
A ‘bath’ refers being surrounded by sound. Consider this to be a fully immersive sound experience during which we ‘bathe’ in the sound and allow ourselves to meditate and communicate with the music.
Do I have to be lying down?
As with all of the Sonatoriums, there is no right or wrong way to experience this. Lying down is the easiest way to relax into the experience but it is by no means a requirement.
Gongs are loud. How will I be able to relax?
I use a variety of gentle and calming instruments during this session, but the gong can be a very evocative instrument if played in ways other than hitting it. Discovering and understanding the sounds that you hear is a large part of the experience.
Is this a therapy session?
A sound journey like this is likely to evoke some deeper emotions and will allow you to explore your mind. For some, this will allow memories to surface or deeper feelings to manifest, but is most likely to be a gentle, restorative session. Please email or call me if you want to talk more about what the session can be like for you.
Can I share with you?
YES! I enjoy listening, and supporting integration, but there is no need to use linguistics frames to order your experience.
